[VIDEO] Maleigh Zan Goes “HIGHER” in Her Latest Visual
Maleigh Zan is having a busy summer, and she isn't slowing down yet.
The Atlanta-raised artist just released the visual for “HIGHER,” one of the records from her new 10-track project, the summer that never ended. The album arrived August 21 through We Push Art/gamma., bringing together a run of music that shows exactly why Maleigh has been difficult to place into one category.
And that might be the point.
Maleigh's music has always played with the lines between hip-hop, dance, electronic music and the sounds she grew up around in Atlanta. Before music became the main focus, she began modeling as a teenager, eventually connecting her interests in fashion, music and culture. That crossover has already opened doors for her outside of traditional music spaces, including an earlier campaign with New Balance.
But 2026 has been especially active.
This summer alone, Maleigh teamed up with Anycia for “Such A Time,” giving Atlanta two very different female voices on the same record. The collaboration received a visual of its own and has continued introducing Maleigh to audiences who may know her more for hip-hop than the dance records she's also comfortable making.
She also appeared on PNAU's “Crash” and collaborated with Yellow Claw and Stoltenhoff on “Freak Is On,” while her solo record “CUNTY” arrived in June. That range makes her an interesting artist to watch because there doesn't seem to be much interest in staying inside one sound.
Now comes “HIGHER.”
The official visual is already live on Maleigh Zan's YouTube channel, giving the project another piece of content only days after the album's release.
For an emerging artist, that's an important part of the story. Maleigh isn't simply releasing singles and hoping one catches. She's continuing to build out the world around the music through visuals, collaborations, fashion and records that can move between different audiences.
Atlanta has always produced artists who aren't afraid to experiment, and Maleigh Zan seems comfortable carrying some of that energy into a completely different lane.
With the summer that never ended officially out and “HIGHER” getting its own visual, this feels less like a one-off release and more like Maleigh continuing to show people exactly where she plans to take things next.
