Cardi B Isn't Done Yet — “AH HA” Starts Her Next Run

Cardi B knows how to make people talk.

Sometimes it's the music.

Sometimes it's something she said.

Usually it's both.

Now she's back with “AH HA,” her first new single of 2026, released July 31 after finishing her record-breaking U.S. tour.

And Cardi isn't treating the release like something to quietly throw onto streaming.

Earlier this month, hundreds of fans gathered in Brooklyn after she was spotted filming the music video for the record in Sunset Park.

That's Cardi.

Even filming a video can become an event.

It's easy to forget how unusual her career has actually been.

“Bodak Yellow” turned Cardi from a reality-TV personality and internet favorite into a legitimate rap superstar. Then Invasion of Privacy proved she wasn't going to be a one-record story.

“I Like It.”

“Money.”

“WAP.”

“Up.”

The records kept coming, even while fans spent years asking when the next album was coming.

Eventually, Am I the Drama? arrived, and Cardi took the project on the road with her Little Miss Drama Tour. Her official site currently lists the album as out now.

She also returned to the BET Awards stage this summer with a performance built around music from the album.

Now “AH HA” starts another chapter.

What's always made Cardi interesting is that she understands entertainment just as much as she understands rap.

The personality isn't separate from the music.

The fashion isn't separate from the music.

The internet moments aren't separate from the music.

It all feeds the same Cardi B universe.

And even after everything she's already accomplished, people still stop to see what she's doing next.

That's not easy to maintain.

Especially in rap.
