From Media to The Misses Agency: Tianna Is Building Her Own Lane in PR

A good song can get someone's attention. Building a story around the person who made it is something different.

For Tianna, that has always been part of the work.

Long before launching The Misses Agency, Tianna was building experience across music, media and public relations. Her background includes studying at Clark Atlanta University, working behind the scenes on entertainment projects and creating her own media platform, where she interviewed artists, entrepreneurs and other creatives.

In an earlier interview, Tianna described herself as a “dot connector” — someone who naturally brings people, ideas and opportunities together. Years later, that same skill has become part of how she approaches PR.

Now, through The Misses Agency, the focus is helping talent and brands become more intentional about how they're seen.

Because PR isn't just getting your name on a website.

It's understanding the story, finding the right opportunities, building relationships and knowing how to position someone so people have a reason to pay attention.

The Campaign ATL caught up with Tianna to talk about her journey in the industry, building The Misses Agency, what artists misunderstand about PR and what she's focused on next.

For independent artists especially, that conversation matters.

We're in an era where artists have direct access to audiences, but access doesn't automatically create a brand. A viral moment can introduce you to thousands of people overnight. What happens after they find you is where strategy comes in.

And that's where people like Tianna come into the picture.

From starting in media to building an agency of her own, her career has continued to evolve — but connecting the dots has remained at the center of it.
